Learning is not compulsory... neither is survival.
W. E. Deming (1900 - 1993)
We've been very much into Open Source
Content Management Systems for the last two years.
After trying out a whole bunch of them [from historic Perl scripts
to fancy JSP apps, from Nuke-like PHP portals to innovative Python
frameworks], whe've chosen to stay with mainstream LAMP platforms
and CMSes.
Our contribution to the OS community [and our portfolio] in this
field has to do with Italian localizations, visual
design,
debugging and first level support.
If your site is getting a mess to maintain, you
may have reached the Content Management stage... Let the tycoons
spend big money
in proprietary bubble solutions and tell us what you really
do need. We believe to have a handful of good answers
here.
